About Us

We deliver life-saving newborn screening anytime, anywhere - without electricity

Every baby deserves a healthy start

We’re making newborn screening affordable, accurate, and accessible — even in areas without hospitals or electricity. Using mobile technology, low-cost test kits, and local health workers, we bring life-saving tests directly to families who need them most.

In many developing regions, babies go untested for Congenital Hypothyroidism (CHT) and other serious conditions due to lack of transportation, infrastructure, or nearby health facilities — problems not seen in the developed world.

We’re making sure no child is left behind simply because of where they were born.

Our Mission

We deliver affordable, accurate, and accessible newborn screening through mobile technology, low-cost test kits, and trained local health workers—so no baby is left behind because of where they are born.

By combining innovation with community-driven care, we bridge the gap between advanced medical testing and underserved regions. Our approach ensures that even the most remote families can access life-saving early diagnosis and treatment for conditions that, if detected in time, are completely manageable.

We believe that every newborn, regardless of geography or circumstance, deserves a healthy start to life, free from preventable disabilities and lifelong challenges.

Our Purpose

Given economics, facility locations, and lack of transportation or infrastructure many babies in developing nations go untested for CHT and other life altering conditions; a problem not seen in the developed world. Treatments for these conditions can be as little as a penny a day.

At 14 days of birth, babies should be tested for Congenital Hypothyroidism (CHT) using a Thyroid Stimulating Hormone (TSH) test. If a baby has CHT and it goes untreated, they will lose the equivalent of 1/2 an IQ point a day until mentally retarded, short of stature, deafness, and other life long health problems. These time-critical tests need to be taken to where they are needed most.

What is Congenital Hypothyroidism?

Congenital Hypothyroidism (CHT) is a condition present at birth where a baby’s thyroid gland doesn’t produce enough thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) – an essential hormone for brain development, growth, and overall health.

Why is Matters?

Thyroid Stimulating Hormone is like fuel for a baby’s developing brain and body. Without it, babies can quickly fall behind in development – even though they may look healthy.

The Consequences Without Treatment

In just a few short weeks after birth, a baby with untreated CHT may begin to suffer from:
